Hitman turned out to be completely amazing, in spite of all expectations- following on the heels of the middlingly received Hitman Absolution, and being released in a piecemeal episodic manner that no one was sure made any sense for the kind of game that Hitman games usually are.
And yet, Hitman owned the episodic format, and delivered a fresh, powerful, emergent stealth sandbox that made a fan out of everybody. And now, developers and publishers IO Interactive are inviting more people to play the first episode of the game to get a taste for what Hitman is, for absolutely free. The first episode, including all the content that came with it – the story missions, escalation contacts, Achievements/Trophies, challenges, and all Contracts – will be included with this.
