Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight will be arriving next week. If you don’t know, it’s a Metroidvania-style title funded on Kickstarter that’s been in development since 2014. It also has some fairly pretty visuals as the new release trailer showcases below.

Boasting non-linear exploration, Hollow Knight sees players descending into the depths beneath a town called Dirtmouth in search of rewards. Tons of insects dwell beneath the surface but you’ll have plenty of abilities (called Charms) to back you up.

Funded for $50,000, Hollow Knight was slated to arrive on Wii U as well as PC. However, the Wii U version was cancelled several weeks ago. A Switch version will instead be happening and it will be out shortly after the console is available.

Those on PC and Mac will be able to play Hollow Knight on February 24th. What are your thoughts on the new trailer? Let us know below in the comments.
