Homefront The Revolution (1)

Homefront: The Revolution was, at one point, a shooter that many players were looking forward to playing. But in the wake of the financial troubles over at Crytek UK, the game was sold to the respected video game developer and publisher, Deep Silver of Saints Row fame.

Speaking by way of the NeoGAF forums, the community manager Maurice Tan has confirmed that the game is still being worked on and is very much alive, he said, “”Homefront: The Revolution is still in development, now under our wing at Dambuster Studios…”. Dambuster Studios were formerly known as Crytek UK.

He went on to compare the game to other titles that have been in development hell and commented on the fans questions, “Sometimes we get questions from fans if it’s going to be another Prey 2 or Duke Nukem Forever. But rest assured that the team at Dambuster is still working hard on the game and it’s not going to be vapourware.”

There’s no real reason to doubt that the game will be released soon, the only real concern is what the end quality of the title will be.
