Dennaton Games has finally released a trailer for the upcoming Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and in the process, showcased just why the over-the-top action shooter is just so bloody awesome.

Some of the new mechanics can be seen in the form of dual wielding, with one character using dual SMGs, and a dodge roll to effectively move to cover. We also get a look at some of the newer characters – lest you think the game actually has co-op, it’s actually The Swans, a brother and sister assassin duo that you control simultaneously according to the developer on Twitter.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will be out in Q3 2014 for the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, PC and Mac. It follows up on the ultraviolent and retro-drenched original game which was both critically and commercially acclaimed. The original Hotline Miami will be heading to the PS Vita in the coming months so stay tuned for more information.
