Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Teaser and Screenshots Released

Violence returns.

Posted By | On 19th, Jun. 2013

Murder has returned to play, as Dennaton Games and Devolver Digital have announced a new teaser and screenshots for the ultraviolent golden boy of indie games, namely Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. As a follow-up to the previous year’s critically acclaimed Hotline Miami and promises to deliver the same level of violence, style, intensity and pulsating soundtrack that defined the original.

As with the original game, Hotline Miami 2 twists your perceptions, making you question what you’re doing and whether your actions have real consequences or not. The original’s central theme was meant as a sort of critique on violence in video games – and it pulled it off with an 80’s level flair that would make Drive proud.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will also let you play as multiple characters, whose stories intersect, along with hundreds of new sprites and animations along with new areas and weapons. It’s due to release in 2013 for PC, Mac and Linux.
