Hunt Showdown

Crytek is known for pushing graphics to the absolute limit with its Crysis games, and the sentiment holds true for Hunt: Showdown as well. The game still boasts some great visuals, and current-gen console owners have gotten some much needed performance updates in its latest patch.

As detailed in a Reddit post, update 1.7 is available across both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The developer has removed the 30 fps framerate cap, and the game offers performance of up to 60 fps. Of course, performance will vary across platforms. Furthermore, there seems to be no mention of any resolution or other visual upgrades of any kind.

The patch will also have a reconnect support feature, as well as custom loadouts being added into the game. Crytek also promised that its next update will focus on having a constant and stable 30 fps experience for the PS4 and Xbox One, and the patch should come out sometime next year.
