Hunter The Reckoning Deathwish

Following its not-so-surprising reveal at the Xbox Partner Preview in March, Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish appeared at the latest Nacon Connect. Game director Piotr Łatocha outlines various aspects, from creating your character to customizing their stats (which is based on the official Hunter: The Reckoning rulebook).

As part of the greater World of Darkness setting, players control a Hunter who must face the creatures of the night to protect humanity. After customizing their character and setting up a base, you decide how to hunt werewolves, vampires and other threats. A good first step is to find out more about them, whether it’s investigating crime scenes, sneaking around, or interrogating those who may know more.

Alongside tools such as guns, silver blades, and whatnot (each with different consequences), you’ll meet other humans and form bonds, which can lead to them helping out on missions. However, it seems they can die as well, so you’ll need to be careful. Bonding can lead to various benefits and there’s no denying the extra firepower that they can provide.

Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish launches in Summer 2027 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details and coverage from Nacon Connect in the meantime.
