Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity

Nintendo has taken to dropping big announcements out of nowhere as of late, such as yesterday’s unveiling of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Instead of being a sequel to the first game, this entry will instead be set 100 years before Breath of the Wild as you fight in a futile battle. And today we got some new screens focusing on some of the characters you’ll be able to play as.

As of now, we don’t know everyone that will be playable in this entry in Hyrule Warriors, but we know from yesterday’s trailer that Zelda, Link and the four champions that played a key role in Breath of the Wild‘s plot will be. You can see them in some degree of action below.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will release for the Nintendo Switch on November 20th. The next time we’ll get an update on the game will be September 26th as part of developer Koei Tecmo’s TGS 2020 showing.
