Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment

Nintendo has released a new trailer for its upcoming action game Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. The trailer, released as part of the recent Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, can be checked out below, and gives us a look at some of the title’s story as well as a few glimpses at its gameplay.

Focusing quite a bit on Zelda as the main protagonist this time around, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment will also feature several other characters from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and will likely also include many more characters from throughout the Legend of Zelda franchise.

The trailer ends with a hint that we might be getting a new character that makes use of ancient Sheikah technology. While not outright confirming what this new character is, there is an indication that they will be more of an automaton rather than a regular person like the other playable characters in the game.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment was announced back in April, and is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in Winter.
