Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition New Trailer Shows Off Toon Link, Tetra, and More

Throwback to The Wind Waker.

The newest trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, the upcoming Switch enhanced remaster of the popular Zelda themed hack and slash game, is now available. The new trailer introduces us to a whole bunch of new characters, including Toon Link, Tetra, Medli, and King Daphnes- all characters from the beloved Wind Waker.

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition takes content from the Wii U version of the game, and consolidates it with the 3DS version of the game’s content; it also adds some altogether new content into the mix, such as costumes from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If you haven’t played the game already, this Switch version sounds like it will be the best one for you to jump in with.

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition is due out on the Nintendo Switch exclusively on March 22 in Japan; the game is also due out in the west slightly later, some time this Spring.
