Images From Rockstar’s Agent Leak

It looks like it would have been cool.

Remember Agent? It was a brand new PS3 exclusive that Rockstar was supposed to be working on, something that would become their new GTA. It was announced at Sony’s E3 press conference in 2009, and ever since then, we… simply haven’t seen it. It’s been missing in action completely. Rockstar has maybe mentioned it a couple of times, but beyond that, we don’t even have any indication if the game ever existed.

However, according to an artist who worked on the game in 2009-10, the game was being worked on to some capacity before development on it simply… stopped. Reddit and other sources dugged out the information, and it looks like the game was going to have a pretty cool setting- honestly, looking at what we see reminds me of the Jason Bourne movies. I’d have loved to play a game like that, particularly from Rockstar.

Check out the screenshots for yourself below, and lament at what could have been. Because one thing is very clear now- Agent is never actually happening.
