Meet Van Helsing – or at least his son. If there’s one thing the awful movie did, it was ensure that the Van Helsing “family” was much akin to the Belmonts in their vampire/monster hunting prowess. So for The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, it’s interesting to see some one different taking the role of the monster hunter Abraham Van Helsing’s son.
The new Van Helsing is the Mysterious Stranger, who will hence forth be the new protagonist for the game, was decided via fan poll. With the voting ending yesterday, Neocore Lead Artist Aniko Salamon aka Coreoca created a quick sketch about the game’s new Van Helsing, dubbed the Mysterious Stranger. The story behind why these changes were made is detailed here, but really, we’re more interested to see how a Van Helsing will be able to coexist with the monsters he’s hunted for so long when the game releases in 2013.
