The Nihilanth is well aware of Freeman
By the time Half Life comes to its mind blowing conclusion the Nihilanth is very well aware of Freeman and is probably threatened by him, mainly because Freeman was responsible in killing half or more of the Nihilanth army. Quotes like “Win… you cannot win…” is said when Gordon enters Gonarch’s Lair, and “Done… what you have done…” is said when Gordon defeats the Gonarch. AsGordon slowlyapproaches the lair, the Nihilanth is taken by surprise and starts to get worried.
