The Witness:
This up and coming 3D puzzle game from Number None Inc, and Jonathan Blow is a little beauty that has the player stuck on an uninhabited island, solving puzzles to presumably get off the island. From the gameplay trailer we’ve seen this game gives us the feeling of the classic, Myst series. This game was announced way back in 2009 and was expected to be released on the 360 and the PS3, however due to potential hardware constraints, the game is now a timed-exclusive release for the PS4. We can also expect to see this game coming to the PC and iOS a little later in 2014.
If you’re worried that all you’ll be doing is solving little puzzle mazes, from what the developers have said, there is nothing to worry about. There should be plenty of the islands to explore, as well as gorgeous, varying landscapes to enjoy while you’re solving the various puzzles in the game.
