Galak-Z: The Dimensional:
Galak-Z is bringing back that classic, Asteroids feel with a lovely arcade twist. This 2D flight-sim-bullet hell mash-up is positively oozing personality. The opening of the game feels like a later 70’s or early 80’s Japanese Sci Fi cartoon, where fast-paced combat and gigantic robots reign supreme. Galak-Z has a nice meshing of the old and new of both gaming and cartoons makes this sidescroller something special. The combination of simple mechanics makes up a very complicated and satisfying and unique experience that other games, indie or otherwise simply do not offer. 17-Bit has got a wonderful idea going with this one.
