Developer Team Clout is currently hard at work on its upcoming survival horror game ILL. The game is being developed using Unreal Engine 5, and a few snippets of gameplay have been recently released- which look gorgeous. Check out the videos down below.

ILL takes heavy inspiration from the recent first-person Resident Evil games, especially in its art style and atmospheric environments. The game apparently does not shy away from brutal violence. The lighting, textures, animations, and post-processing effects all look fantastic. The developers have also promised reactive environments and destructibility mechanics.

Details on the story front remain scant for now, although it’s confirmed that ILL won’t have overtly mind-bending plot twists (unlike some of its inspirations). The game will be releasing on PC, although no release dates have been mentioned as of yet. However, given the fact that the developers are working on the game part-time and that the game is currently funded through Patreon, it seems safe to assume that it’s not releasing anytime soon.
