NetherRealm Studios unveiled a new hero for the upcoming Injustice 2, its DC Universe title where various heroes beat the tar out of each other. This time, Damian Wayne as Robin joins the fight. Check out his moves and confrontation with Batman below in a new trailer (courtesy of IGN).

If you’ll remember, Damian Wayne joined the despotic Superman in Injustice and battled against Batman’s rebellion, even killing Dick Grayson and assuming the mantle of Nightwing. We’re not sure why Damian went the Robin route but it matches up with his first introduction to the comics with a hood, cape and sword.

Director Ed Boon has also confirmed that beta codes are being mailed out for the game. You can still sign up for a chance at a code though. Boon also confirmed that there would be more obscure characters joining the roster this time around.

Injustice 2 will be releasing for PS4 and Xbox One on May 16th so stay tuned for more information.
