Releasing on July 18th as a standalone purchase.

Injustice 2 Sub-Zero

One of NetherRealm Studios’ most legendary fighters, Sub-Zero of Mortal Kombat fame, will be stepping into Injustice 2 today as an additional character. However, he’ll be available only to those who purchased the Ultimate Edition, Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Pack and Fighter Pack #1. Along with some reworked abilities, Sub-Zero will also have an alternative shader which makes him look a lot like Scorpion.

If you pick up the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition today, you’ll receive access to the previously released Red Hood along with Sub-Zero and future access to nine more characters. Three Premiere Skins will also be available for specific fighters and there will be exclusive Gear Shaders as well.

If you don’t want to drop $100 on the Ultimate Edition, then the Deluxe Edition also offers access to the above characters (along with Starfire, releasing later) with a Premiere Skin and Gear Shader at $80.

Those looking to purchase Sub-Zero as a standalone character can do so on July 18th via the Xbox and PlayStation Stores. Stay tuned for more information on future characters in the meantime.
