Injustice 2

NetherRealm Studios’ Injustice 2 will be out next year though the question of “when” still looms large. Thanks to the recent GameStop earnings report where the retailer detailed its marketing plans for 2017 (seen below), it seems we could have some idea.

The earnings report notes that Injustice 2 is out in the first half of 2017. It’s right in the first quarter with Mass Effect Andromeda, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the upcoming Ghost in the Shell movie. Keep in mind that there’s no solid release date for the games and it’s still possible that Injustice 2 comes out by Q2 2017 instead.

Injustice 2 changes quite a bit from its predecessor. While it still features the same DC heroes vs. villains combat that made the first one famous, there’s now the addition of loot that allows players to customize their fighter in different ways. With several different options available, there’s going to be a lot of variety to the fighting styles on hand.
