Injustice 2’s Next Character Reveal Coming on February 13th

NetherRealm apologizes for confusion.

NetherRealm Studios’ Injustice 2 was supposed to reveal a new character this week but there’s no sign of the same. As it turns out, the reveal will be taking place next week on February 13th.

The developer wrote on Twitter that, “The character reveal will happen next week on February 13. We apologize for any confusion this has caused!”

The last character reveal for the DC Comics fighting game was Black Canary. Director Ed Boon noted that there would be a focus on more obscure characters from the DC Universe. You can still expect Batman, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Superman but they’re now joined by the likes of Atrocitus, Blue Beetle, Deadshot and Gorilla Grodd.

Injustice 2 will be out on May 16th for Xbox One and PS4. It will feature a pretty strong emphasis on loot this time around, allowing players to customize their combatants with tons of different items.
