Injustice 2 Starfire

If you were bummed about the new Justice League trailer from DC Entertainment, then don’t worry. NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer for Injustice 2 at San Diego Comic Con showcasing the next DLC character: Starfire.

In the beginning of the trailer, Starfire is seen laying the smack down on Robin aka Damian Wayne for killing Dick Grayson. That’s a neat little callback because Grayson and Koriand’r were lovers in the comics. Starfire seems to be range-based and is pretty good at keeping her enemies off-balance with combos. Her Super ability is especially outstanding as she takes her opponent into space with energy blasts before detonating in a huge nova.

Those who purchase Injustice 2’s Digital Deluxe Edition will receive Starfire along with the already released Red Hood and Sub-Zero. A Premiere Skin and Gear Shader are also included. Starfire doesn’t currently have a release date but she could be out in August.
