Injustice 2 - Supergirl

The DC FanDome is coming up on August 22nd and already looks to have a solid line-up of reveals. Rocksteady Studios confirmed its Suicide Squad game in a new tweet with a teaser reportedly being showcased. Rumors have also been running about WB Games Montreal’s new Batman game and NetherRealm’s Injustice 3.

Injustice 3 is perhaps more interesting because the teases began recently. Tom Taylor, who wrote the Injustice comic book series, began tweeting out the letters for the game. Meanwhile, NetherRealm Studios’ Ed Boon is confirmed to be attending DC FanDome. Adding further fuel to the fire is a tweet by BossLogic with fan art of the Injustice 3 title (while tagging Boon, no less).

This isn’t an official confirmation by any means but BossLogic – who recently created the key art for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – will also be at the event. The Watchmen-style touches could just be a red herring but the series wouldn’t exactly be out of place given its popularity recently. We’ll have to wait for more information in the coming weeks.
