NetherRealm Studios’ upcoming fighting game Injustice has suffered a delay for the Wii U version. While the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will be releasing on April 16th for the US and April 19th in the UK, the Wii U edition won’t be out till April 26th in the UK.

A spokesperson for Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment confirmed the delay to CVG. They failed to specify why, however, so there’s also that.

Injustice is based on DC Comics characters of the same name, and features an original story in which Superman has established a new world order. It features Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Doomsday, The Joker and many other DC mainstays, along with competitive multiplayer modes and the S.T.A.R. Labs side missions.

The game features interactive environments and features a three-button fighting system similar to Street Fighter, as opposed to NetherRealm’s previous title Mortal Kombat.
