Insomniac considered bringing back Nathan Hale in Resistance 3

It would have been good to see him again.

Insomniac may have ditched the now dead Nathan Hale for Resistance 3 and gone with Joseph Capelli- the guy who shot him- being the new protagonist, but it was not always so. Insomniac considered bringing Nathan Hale back from the dead for Resistance 3.

“We discussed whether or not Hale was really dead for about four to six weeks at the start of development,” said Drew Murray, lead designer at Insomniac, while talking to USA Today. “There was talk about bringing him back as a half-Chimeran super-powered character, possibly as a playable character, a friendly NPC, or even as an enemy. Ultimately, we agreed it felt a little bit B-movie to bring him back and moved on.”

Well, it sure would have been good to see him, but unfortunately, it won’t be happening. Now, we may see him in Res 4, for some stupid reason I don’t know, but we dn’t even know if there will ever be a Res 4.
