Insomniac Files A Trademark For ‘Digit & Dash’

What could this be referring to?

Insomniac Games, best known as the creators of the Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, and Sunset Overdrive games, are currently working on the PlayStation 4 exclusive reboot/remake of the original Ratchet and Clank game, but it seems that’s not the only thing they have in the works. Apparently, they recently filed a trademark for ‘Digit & Dash,’ without any further explanation for it provided, beyond the fact that it is indeed referring to some form of video game software.

While I am sure many would love to speculate on the possibility of a new Ratchet or Sunset game from them that the trademark might be referring to (although Sony would be the ones filing the trademark for Ratchet, since they own the IP), honestly, I don’t think it’s any of that. To me it sounds like a new project, and moreover, the name seems to imply some form of mobile/tablet game.

Which might sound disappointing to everyone, but as long as they continue churning out quality console games, I’ll take it.
