Insomniac Teasing Ratchet and Clank Event For This Friday

Is this our first look at the next generation Ratchet and Clank?

Ratchet and Clank Into the Nexus (2)

Last year at E3, Sony went ahead and announced that a full fledged remake of the first Ratchet and clank game, which set off Insomniac and Sony’s beloved mascot action platformer series, would be coming to the PlayStation 4 some time this year; however, since the initial announcement, we haven’t actually heard much about the game.

But that may soon be about to change, as it appears that Insomniac is teasing a Ratchet and Clank event for this Friday, February 27, in Los Angeles. The basis for this speculation comes from Insomniac community lead James Stevenson on their official forums, that asked LA based fans to get n touch be him if they would be free around noon that day, heavily hinting at some kind of an event, one that will include fan engagement, at that.

This event may be our first look at the game in motion, as well as maybe a look at the planned movie based on the original game that is also due to release some time alongside the title.
