Is Red Dead Redemption 2 Coming To PC?

If the Denuvo leak is any indication.

Posted By | On 12th, Feb. 2017

DRM providers Denuvo recently had a technical issue on their website, as a result of which all users were, for a very brief window of time, given unrestricted access to information from its database regarding what future titles might be coming to PC.

As per this information leak, Rockstar will be using Denuvo in the future. Why is this a big deal? Well, Denuvo is a DRM provider that works only on the PC platform, and Rockstar games only have one release coming up for the foreseeable future. And that, people, is Red Dead Redemption 2.

The game has only been announced as of yet for the PS4 and the Xbox One, but seeing as how previous major Rockstar releases like Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V both received PC ports some time after their initial releases with major upgrades, there is a chance that the same might happen with Red Dead Redemption 2 as well.

Take this with a pinch of salt though, since nothing is confirmed as of yet- this is merely speculation. Stay tuned for any updates on this issue in the future.

Thanks, RDR2.
