J.J. Abrams, who is currently known for Star Trek: Into Darkness and directing the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, has announced that his company Bad Robot will be working with Chair Entertainment to develop a new video game. Chair Entertainment is best known for the iOS series Infinity Blade.

This new video game is known as Spyjinx and will be developed on Unreal Engine 4. It will release on PC and mobile devices in 2016. For now, it seems to mix “RPG character development” with “action strategy” and “dynamic world building”. Not much is known about the setting other than it will be in the “thrilling, treacherous world of espionage”.

Spyjinx is currently planned to have an open beta, which you can sign up for here. Other than that, your guess is as good as ours for what players can expect.

Meanwhile, Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens will be releasing on December 14th in theaters.
