AllGamesBeta has uploaded 12 minutes of video footage for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII from Japan Expo. The gameplay demo showcases the desert zone in the game that demonstrates a bit of free-roaming/non-linear gameplay that previous Final Fantasy XIII titles did not have. The video also showcases customization features and of course, the combat itself.

To be completely honest, the game looks somewhat bland and inspiring. It just seems that Square Enix is not doing that great of a job with the Final Fantasy XIII series. However, wait for our complete judgement when the game gets released on February 11th of next year.
