Remember that collaboration announced between Hello Games and indie dev Four Door Lemon? We’re now seeing the fruits of it, as the former has announced that the port of Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie for the PlayStation Vita will release in Q2 2014 and be developed by the latter. will make the jump to Vita in the first half of next year, courtesy of a collaboration between creator Hello Games and fellow indie Four Door Lemon.

While the port was already revealed back in August, this is the first time a release window of any kind has been provided. Considering the immense success of Joe Danger, both critically and commercially, it speaks volumes about Hello Games entrusting Four Door Lemon with their key franchise.

Four Door Lemon is perhaps best known for developing Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD for the PlayStation 3, though it has had a number of smaller releases. Hello Games is currently busy with next-gen open world sci-fi title No Man’s Sky.
