Judgment Video Shows Off Game’s Flashy Combat Style

The game hits hard when it needs to.

A large part of the focus of Sega’s marketing of Judgment has been the game’s English dub. It’s been a little unorthodox, in a good way, in showing the voices behind the dub and some of the reasoning behind the translation. Today is a little different, though, as instead they want to show you the game’s combat- and boy, did they do it in style.

You can see the video below to see protagonist Yagami switching between various fighting styles and going to town on some enemies. The combat itself will be pretty familiar to Yakuza fans, but Yagami is a much more versatile fighter than Kazuma Kiryu. He goes pretty wild with very flashy moves, as he can take on enemies in either stiff one on one combat, or take out multiple foes with long reaching attacks, all with lots of flashing colors for good measure.

Judgment will release June 25 on PlayStation 4. You can also check out what the series director says about the future of the franchise here.
