So many explosions.

Raise your hands if you actually play Just Cause for the story. I’ll wait. I thought so. See, no one plays Just Cause for the story. You know it, I know it, even developers Avalanche Software know it- the story is just an excuse to enable our wanton destruction and annihilation that we leave in our wake as we make our way through the sprawling maps in Just Cause games.

Which is why even with this newest trailer for the game, which is ostensibly just a story trailer, meant to show us the narrative for the title, Avalanche Studios have taken the time out to show us just how many great, shiny explosions we can cause across the map even while engaging with the story. Showing off explosions in these Just Cause trailers seems to be becoming a theme for Avalanche here.

Just Cause 3 launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on December 1.
