Just Cause 4 Has Gone Gold, Over a Month Ahead of Release

So no more delays should be possible beyond this point, then.

Just Cause 4 is due to launch in December, but it looks like the game has officially completed development and gone gold already. This means that the main game code is now set in stone, finalized, and being pressed to discs. While changes can still be made to the game beyond this point in way of post launch updates, including day one patches, actual development is done. The game isn’t getting delayed from this point on.

Avalanche announced the news today via the official Just Cause Twitter account. Hopefully, with it going gold so early, the final game will be far better optimized than Just Cause 3 was, which was famously buggy and poorly optimized, especially for Xbox One.

If you’re looking forward to the game, don’t forget to check out one of the latest trailers for it, which shows us… well, it shows us exactly what a Just Cause fan would expect. Just Cause 4 will come out on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on December 4.
