Kamiya and Inaba mock Bayonetta 2 cancellation rumours

The amount and the variety of enemies in the game are crazy

After recent rumours that Bayonetta 2 has been cancelled, Platinum Games’ Atsushi Inaba and Hideki Kamiya (director of the first Bayonetta) have come out and mockingly suggested that the game hasn’t even been confirmed yet, much less cancelled.

“We’ve heard all the rumors on the net,” tweets Inaba jokingly. “What do you guys think? Too bad it got cancelled, huh?” Along with his jests, he also tweeted this image.

Hideki Kamiya tweet (pictured below): “Game that cannot be announced yet cannot be canelled, so I know Bayo 2 is safe in your mind-heart and around PG office.”

When someone jokingly asked him if his next game will still have hot babes, Kamiya replied in the affirmative.

So there you have it- you can’t say a game’s been cancelled when it hasn’t even been announced by the developers. Makes sense…
