Killcam And 3D Replay To Launch With PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Version 1.0

Finally giving you the chance to see where your killshot came from.

The chicken dinners are coming out of the oven when PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds officially comes out of early access on December 20th, and Bluehole has been hard at work getting ready for the big day. Among the many features to come with the milestone 1.0 launch, it’s now confirmed that Killcam and 3D Replay features will come as well.

The additions announced through press release come thanks to a partnership with Seoul-based Minkonet, who’s technology is adding the seamless video playback to the game for use as a killcam system and so players can observe others after death. Now that you can finally see where you got taken down from, players can  learn from their mistakes and adapt to different strategies.

Minkonet has opened a Los Angeles office in the hopes of shopping their technology around to other online focused games and to sell themselves to a North American developer market better. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds launches the official 1.0 version on December 20th on PC, but Xbox One version is still in its  Game Preview Program.
