Kingdom Come: Deliverance Dev Diary Focuses on Combat

Developer Warhorse Studios has released a new developer diary for its upcoming open-world RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and in the video, members from the development team talk about the game’s combat, how it works, and how they did their research on several aspects of it.

The video starts with the devs talking about how they did their research on how things like fencing and battles actually work and how they could incorporate those into the game. The developers then go on to talk about the combat design and how it will work exactly in the game.

Take a look at the video above, there’s some interesting stuff in there.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open world RPG set in 15th century Europe, in the kingdom of Bohemia. The game will focus on actual historical events that took place throughout the history of Central Europe.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance come out for the PC, Xbox One, OS X and Linux systems and possibly the PS4 (no confirmation on that yet) in 2015.
