Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the first project from former Mafia 2 developers, has successfully been funded on Kickstarter. It managed to reach its $300,000 target within 3 days and is currently at a total $326,169 with 27 days left for funding. The first episode of the game (a total of three) will launch in December 2015 for PC.

Had the Kickstarter campaign not been a success, the game wouldn’t have been developed at all. Interestingly, the Kickstarter was also a means to convince a private Czech investor that it was worth investing in. How much will be invested aside from the Kickstarter total hasn’t been revealed yet, but it will definitely help the game’s development.

If you haven’t seen it, then Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open world action RPG set during medieval times and boasting multi-NPC combat and castle sieges. You’ll engage in sword fights, ride on horseback, get embroiled in medieval politics and all that other good stuff.
