Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, The Legend of Zelda Breath of Wild Ranked In Latest Famitsu Japan Game Charts

Zelda falls, everything else holds its position.

Final Fantasy 15 still reigns supreme at the top of the Famitsu Most Wanted charts, with Pokemon Sun/Moon coming in at a distant second- and that establishes that the Japanese gaming audiences are, much like all other gaming audiences in the world, creatures of habit.

Don’t believe me? Look at the rest of the chart- Dragon Quest 11‘s PS4 version, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and the 3DS version of Dragon Quest 11 take up the next three spots, while Yakuza 6 and Resident Evil 7 are taking up the next two after that. Kingdom Hearts 3 is ranked eighth.

Mysterious enough, however, Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild had been knocked out of the Top 10 entirely- it is now ranked number 12. Instead, the final two spots go to Nioh and newcomer SaGa Scarlet Grace. Hopefully Nintendo works on rekindling some of the hype for Zelda soon enough. Meanwhile, Square Enix, at least, should be very happy by the amount of anticipation and buzz their games seem to be generating.
