Kingdom Hearts 3 isn’t out until next year (we have Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD to make our way through first, before we get to it), but Square Enix did share some new screens of the game. The new screnshots show a new Drive Form named Guard Form, transformed from the Keyblade of Herc’s Shield- although apparently, there’s a catch.

Square Enix admitted in their tweet that they used to share the screens that “this power form was edited as it is the Keyblade from a world that hasn’t been released yet, so it has changed into a hammer shape.” Which is annoying, but hey- at least it’s something.

You can check out both the screenshots below. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be launching next year on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Let us know what you think of the new images in the comments section below, and stay tuned for more coverage and information.
