The mini-games appear to be inspired from old Disney cartoons and LCD games from the 1980s.

Although we are still unsure about Kingdom Hearts 3’s release date, we at least have a fair idea about when to expect the game’s release. Now, a new trailer has been revealed and it was first broadcast at a Kingdom Hearts Union X fan meet up in Anaheim, California. The trailer showcases a bunch of mini-games that Sora can play within Kingdom Hearts 3.

It looks like Sora will have his own LCD-type portable gaming machine with him on which he can play a number of minigames which are inspired from Disney cartoons and LCD games from the 1980s. The different minigames are The Barnyard Battle, The Karnival Kid, Giantland, and Musical Farmer. These minigames look like they’re a lot of fun to play and they certainly carry a nostalgic feeling for older games and cartoons.

You can check out the trailer below. As of now, we have no official confirmation regarding a release date for the game.
