Now that Kingdom Hearts 3 is officially unveiled it’s time for speculation on what has and will go into the game as well as when we’ll finally get to see it. The same holds true, to a less extent when it comes to Final Fantasy XV. There is a lot of talk about that the release date for this iteration of Final Fantasy will finally get an official release date when it is shown off at Gamescom. It stands to reason, considering this isn’t really an unveiling that it could indeed finally get a release date.

When it comes to Kingdom Hearts 3, the game’s director sat down with Director Tetsuya Nomura with Kingdom Hearts Insider and talked about a number of different aspects of the game. In particular he talked about the Drive Forms and the Keyblade transformations. He talked about the changes that are coming in Kingdom Hearts 3. He said the system has evolved from the second iteration in the series though it is similar.

“In addition to the Keyblade transformations for Sora, it becomes possible to maneuver using specific forms and actions. There will be many battle choices. Take whatever strategy, it will be up to the player. Of course, for those who button mash will have an exhilarating experience but for those who want technical fights will also find fun making combinations.” Nomura said. He added there are other features to take into consideration like the Attraction Flow to be taken into account. All of this sounds pretty exciting and Gamescom is going to be a lot better for fans of the series if Final Fantasy XV’s release date does get revealed and they get more info about Kingdom Hearts 3 to boot.
