Kingdom Hearts is a wild series. Not only was it built on a rather bizarre and out of nowhere premise (of Final Fantasy crossing over with Disney properties), it’s been a long running saga that’s become more and more convoluted where spin-offs aren’t really spin-offs and everyone has at least one double. But regardless, it’s beloved by its fans and the success of the third game in the franchise proved that. And it could be coming to PC.
The listing for Kingdom Hearts 3‘s upcoming DLC, ReMind, on the Microsoft store has a description that seems to point at a PC release. Instead of explicitly saying you need to install it on the Xbox One it states, “Get this app while signed in to your Microsoft account and install on your Windows 10 devices.”
It’s speculation, of course, and it could just be a mistake, but the Microsoft Store has been the source of several leaks of this nature recently, and the lack of the game on the PC is noteworthy considering how Kingdom Hearts 3 also launched on the Xbox One despite having zero history on the platform (though that’ll change soon via Game Pass). ReMind drops next month for PS4 users and in February for Xbox One. Could a PC release be coming close behind?
