Kick off the year with a new dose of Kingdom Hearts.

It felt like forever in the making, but earlier in the year we finally got Kingdom Hearts 3. The series was filled with spin-offs (that weren’t really spin-offs, narratively) that helped lead to a long and twisting storyline,-but it still got a semblance of a conclusion with teases of what’s coming next. But DLC is coming soon, and much like a lot of the series, we’ve had to wait for it. But the wait is almost over, as it’ll help kick off 2020.

The Re:Mind DLC has been teased for a while, with trailers detailing the many new features and material it will bring. Square Enix made a bit of a goof (no pun intended) by putting up an unlisted trailer too early for the release date. The trailer was quickly taken down, but not before we got a hold of said date, with the DLC releasing for PS4 users next month, and Xbox One users having to wait until February. Maybe the HD remasters of previous games will come for Xbox One users at some point before to tide them over.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Re:Mind will launch January 23rd on PS4 ,with the Xbox One version coming a month later on February 25th. The official release date trailer should come soon.
