There’s been plenty of cool announcements for Disney worlds that will be included in Kingdom Hearts 3, such as Toy Story, Tangled, and Monsters Inc, to name a few, but as it turns out, there’s still a few worlds that will be in the upcoming RPG that have not been announced yet. At D23 Expo held recently in Japan, Square Enix showed off a “Making of” video behind closed doors, in which developers from the team working on the game shared some interesting details.
One important piece of information that emerged was that there are still some worlds that are yet to be revealed. “There are still more unrevealed worlds,” said series director Tetsuya Nomura, while also hinting that “There is one world that is distinct from the others.”
The game’s co-director, Tai Yasue, also chimed in. “This Kingdom Hearts is a bit different,” he said. “One world is equivalent to one [previous] game, and the things to do for each world are vastly different. My favorite world has not yet been announced so please look forward to it too.”
While the developers obviously didn’t go into any detail about what these unannounced worlds may be, I’m assuming at least one of them has to be Frozen. It is, after all, an extremely popular Disney property, and Yasue has also expressed his fondness for the film several times in the past.
