Kingdom Hearts 3: Will It Have Core Flowmotion Mechanic?

Do you think they're on to something?

So here’s a fun little example of a dedicated fan taking their love of Kingdom Hearts to the next level by creating a quick piece of concept art, in which they try to justify their reasoning that the inclusion of the Flowmotion mechanic in Kingdom Hearts 3 is a given.

“Tophatting” made the concept art based on Cable Town which is thought to be a sort of central hub or operations base in the game. The concept that they created shows Cable Town to be a series of interconnected floating islands that are connected to each other and the ground by way of massive chain links.

They use the chains as a reason to put Flowmotion in the game. Flowmotion is a Parkour-esque means of traversing stages and can be used to grind along rails, slide down poles and even wall run and create attacks. But I don’t see it happening. Kingdom Hearts, though bizarre in concept, generally keeps common sense in place for some things. Cables are not an ideal surface for grinding along given their inherent inclination to swing and sway. It’s a nice concept, but perhaps it could have been done a bit better.
