Kingdom Hearts 3 (10)

Square Enix and Kingdom Hearts custodian did the smart thing when they anticipated inevitable leaks for Kingdom Hearts 3, and as such, to prevent spoilers, withheld some of the game’s most spoilery sections – those being the epilogue and the secret unlockable ending – and decided to add them to the game once it had officially launched worldwide. As part of two updates released yesterday, Square Enix rolled out the game’s epilogue (while also adding the Memory Archives videos and fixing some bugs).

And now, in the newest patch for the game, dubbed version 1.03, the secret ending has also been added- which means the entire story of the game is now out officially, and Square isn’t holding anything back (unless we get DLC down the line, that is). The update on both the PS4 and the Xbox One is roughly 400 MB in size, which means a) it’s a pretty meaty secret cutscene, and b) it shouldn’t take you too long to download (it might have downloaded automatically, if you have that option turned on on your console).

Make sure you read our guide to find out how to unlock the secret ending- you can find it through hereKingdom Hearts 3 is out now, worldwide, for the PS4 and the Xbox One- in Japan, it sold over 600,000 units within two days of release, so it’s fair to say it’s doing pretty well. Our review should be going up soon, so stay tuned.
