Pre-order Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (what the hell is up with that name?) digitally on PSN, and you’ll get a pretty neat pre-order bonus- a free dynamic theme for PS4. The theme is actually fairly drab, it’s just a metallic grey with texture- but hey, I imagine for Kingdom Hearts fans, it’s worth it.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is the final (I really hope) release for Kingdom Hearts before Kingdom Hearts 3 finally launches. The release includes Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, the Nintendo 3DS exclusive Kingdom Hearts game that launched four years ago, as well as KINGDOM HEARTS χ Back Cover, which is just a movie, and KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage –, which is a new playable game.
Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue is going to launch exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on January 24. Alongside the PlayStation re-releases of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD and 2.5 HD, it should make it possible for fans to play the entire series on one system ahead of Kingdom Hearts 3 next year.
