Kirby's Dream Buffet

Out of nowhere, Nintendo announced Kirby’s Dream Buffet, a multiplayer-focused title starring Kirby. After fixing to eat a delicious cake, the pink puffball is shrunken. This sounds like a dream come true since everything on the cake is now gigantic but he must compete against up to three other Kirbys. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The gameplay loop involves rolling around, slower than the speed of sound, in various food-themed stages. You collect strawberries, which causes Kirby to grow in size. After reaching the final round, you face-off against three other players for the ultimate prize. Kirby also seems capable of using different abilities to take down his counterparts while Waddle Dees potentially compete as well.

It sounds like a combination of Fall Guys and Kirby but with fewer players and some racing. Kirby’s Dream Buffet is out this Summer for Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming weeks.
