You notice how Kojima didn’t tell us anything about P.T., which is allegedly an all new Silent Hill game that he is currently working on with famed movie director Guillermo del Toro? Like, even after playing that full interactive teaser, there isn’t much we know about the game. Well, that was deliberately done, according to Kojima. And the reason behind it was to create an aura of mystery around the game to evoke terror.

Said Kojima on his Twitter: “When I was small I was only able to watch scary movies just because there’re (sic) familiar actors/director. I knew it was a made up story. But unknown foreign horror films were scary as hell as it lacks info (sic). I intentionally aimed the lack of info to gain fear for “PT”.”

Well, I don’t know if anyone got scared because they didn’t know what the game is, but Kojima certainly got people talking, so there is that, I suppose!
