Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain

The biggest pleasure for an artist or a creator is when others enjoy their work and creations. For Hideo Kojima, who poured his heart and soul into making Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, his dream project, even amidst growing adversity and hostility, the title probably holds even more significance than it would otherwise.

Which is why he came out straight up, and asked players if they are enjoying the game.

“Are you guys enjoying MGSV?” he asked on his Twitter. When fans gushed and responded that they were indeed enamored by his newest masterpiece, Kojima dropped some advice as to how to play the game. “Pls take a break time to time as this free infiltration exhausts you if playing for a long time,” he said. “Go back to MB between main missions, take a walk, or do the silly SIDE OPS to get mind reset. To tell the truth, since long ago I’ve stopped playing my game at home once it launched. I can watch someone playing just fine but I can’t do it by myself as I may find something I want to fix again thou I had played over and over during the development.”

At the very least, we can all tell Kojima that he made a great game- probably one that really doesn’t need much fixing at this point.
